ROB NORMAN
The role Spike Edney played for Queen is mastered by Rob Norman. Rob is a multi-instrumentalist who has performed tribute shows and musical theatre all over the UK. Ever since Rob first heard Radio Gaga at a friend’s house as a child, he has been a huge fan, and always dreamt of being in a band like Queen. Replicating Spike Edney's role, Rob also plays guitar and is the driving force behind the vocal harmonies and arrangements for Supersonic Queen.

ROB'S STORY
Rob has always loved music and performing. Being part of a Queen tribute show has always been Rob's dream. Growing up listening to Queen and developing a love for their music means that Rob feels really honoured and privileged to be able to perform these wonderful songs every week!
Rob spent hours as a child/teenager listening to queen songs, learning how to play them by ear and whenever the opportunity arose, to study the sheet music. Rob recalls spending one summer holidays at his aunt’s house in Chatham, learning all the parts of songs like I Want It All, One Vision, '39 and Save Me.
Even at school, performing Queen songs was high on the agenda. In one of Rob’s first bands, called 'The Blue Speckled Sound Barrier', Rob performed, One Vision, Bohemian Rhapsody, '39 and Now I’m Here in a concert in the school hall.
Rob is now living the dream, performing as Spike Edney, paying tribute to the greatest band and musicians there ever has been or ever will be.
